Movin on up.....

Sooooooo.... we've moved to the Pushkin Hotel. I am lounging in my lovely Pushkin Hotel bathrobe as I write. Please enjoy the above photos of our previous apartment and the Pushkin. We are now living in luxury for a mere $85/night! We have a living room, kitchen, two bathrooms and two bedrooms here. It's heaven! We have a beautiful restaurant, gym, sauna, business center, billiard room- the works! As you can tell, I'm very excited to be here.

We haven't done much today except anticipate bringing the babies to the hotel tomorrow. It seems unreal that they are actually ours, but it will sure seem real when we finally change our first diapers! We're hoping that they aren't too overwhelmed, since they have basically lived in just a few rooms at the babyhouse their entire lives. We should definitely have a lot to write about tomorrow!

This is the hospital where Jackson was born. There is no parking lot, ambulance bay, etc. - just a dirt road up to the entrance. After I got back in the car, I noticed some crow-like birds eating something which turned out to be the lower jaw of a horse. This was just sitting on the ground in front of the hospital. I know they do eat horse, but how a jaw bone with meat left on it was sitting right in front of the hospital I will never know.
This is Jackson with his new favorite toy. He is not really big enough for it, but he loved being pushed fast. He also loves being flung in the air, held upside down, etc. He really has no fear- I can only imagine the bruises, broken bones, etc. in our future.
Madden still refusing to attempt to crawl after five minutes of enticement with her favorite toy. We've seen her manage to move a few times when she wants to, so I guess we still haven't found the right "bait".

Glad that you're feeling better with a change of scenery!
Ohhh diapers! Beware the "sprinkler" effect! Can't wait to see you!
