We've arrived in Almaty!!!

Hello everyone! We just had a wonderful lunch of pizza of all things, and wanted to let you all know we are alive and well. I can't begin to explain how long the flight was!! We left California at 11:30 a.m. on 11/21, and arrived in Almaty at 2:00 a.m. on 11/23. We are staying in a very nice apartment while here, and have nearly all the comforts of home. We'll post pics when we get set up in Uralsk. We had our meeting with our facilitator here in Almaty and all went well. We are now in a large mall called the Ramstore, where we had our pizza lunch and now some time at the internet cafe. We are definitely not roughing it here! We will be leaving for Uralsk at 5 a.m., then if all goes as planned will be meeting the kids later in the day. That's about all we have for now- we're off to a grocery store to get some dinner items. So, (moms) don't worry-- we are just fine!
